From spearheading a 6th grade debate on the benefits of solar power to growing my first garden as a pre teen, using the earth’s natural resources in a responsible way has always been of interest to me. That coupled with my love for enjoying the beauty and serenity of nature created the Green Living focus of Green Life Wellness. Today I teach people how to LIVE GREEN in simple ways. Starting with food is a great beginning since it teaches us how to “go green” on the inside – cleaning out the toxins inside our bodies and learning how to eat “outside of the box”. From there we can better appreciate natural foods, our soil and all that nature provides for us. I encourage people to start their own organic home gardens, support children’s gardening programs and organizations that promote organic and sustainable agriculture. Once you are “eating green” and feel more connected to your food supply, it becomes second nature to reduce your exposure to toxins and your use of substances that are both harmful to you and the environment.
